The Biosphere
The Biosphere Newcastle is a specialist facility on the Newcastle Helix site, tailored to the commercialisation of life sciences and innovation, research and development. The facility offers 90,000 sq.ft of high-quality biology and chemistry laboratories, Grade A offices and conference space in Newcastle’s bustling city centre.
A unique ecosystem containing two floors of containment level 2 fitted labs and write-up areas ready for immediate occupation, together with shared wash-up facilities. The floor of Grade A fitted offices is exclusively for the use of science-based companies and there is a bespoke programme available of business support, excelling the journey from world-class research to the commercialisation of products and services.
