Campus for Ageing and Vitality: A multi-agency approach to health and wellbeing
Wednesday 11 March 2020 14.15-15.00
Invest Newcastle, Stand C19.C
The Campus for Ageing and Vitality is a multi-million-pound development built on a former hospital site. This 29-acre site currently accommodates Newcastle University’s ageing research facilities.
Working with the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Newcastle City Council, the vision is to establish this site as the world’s premier centre for healthy ageing and living. It will further catapult Newcastle as the ‘go-to place’ for innovation, evaluation and dissemination of new technologies and lifestyle approaches for the older person.
This event will give you the opportunity to hear from Newcastle University, the NHS and Newcastle City Council leaders about their multi-agency approach to health and wellbeing across the city.
You will also hear from GSS architecture, who will present their designs and plans for this multi-generational residential, research and commercial development.
