Gordon is a Principal at Avison Young and is Regional Managing Director for the Newcastle Office. He is also responsible for running the Building and Project Management teams across the North East and Yorkshire, as well as sitting on the Management Board of the UK Building business unit.

Day-to-day, Gordon provides project management advice to public and private sector clients. His keen interest is in the regeneration sector and bringing back into use brownfield sites across a variety of sectors. Recent projects include the delivery of the new HMRC Regional Centre in Nottingham and the award-winning Tees AMP in Middlesbrough. He is currently responsible for delivery of the regeneration of Pilgrim Street in Newcastle, a major city centre regeneration scheme including office, hotel and leisure uses, bringing over 10,000 new jobs to the city centre.

Gordon is a keen advocate of MIPIM and has been keen to help Avison Young support Invest Newcastle and its partners at the event for a number of years.
